Account Executive – Unstructured Data Storage – UAE & Gulf

Business growth is critical to the success of Dell Technologies and in this role you’ll be in charge of expanding our footprint. Our Unstructured Data Storage Sales team develops new accounts and expands existing ones, using their expansive knowledge of our offerings to grow an established geographic territory or product line.

Join us as an Account Executive – Unstructured Data Storage on our Unstructured Data Storage Sales team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact.

The role acts as a subject matter expert within Isilon & ECS Products, engaging closely with Enterprise Account Executives and Data Center Sales Executives to prospect and generate pipeline, meet customer needs and drive revenue for their product. Serves multiple sales teams across several sales districts as the BU subject Matter Expert. This person must thrive on activity, continual learning of the industry & it’s impact on for customers. Need to have or acquire 201/301 level technical understanding of Dell EMC storage portfolio and of the competition products. Holds full accountability on sales forecasting to BU and territory leaders.

What you’ll achieve
As an Account Executive – Unstructured Data Storage, you will connect directly with customers to ensure satisfaction with our storage solutions, partnering closely with the Direct Sales Executive to understand and meet customers’ storage solution requirements.

You will
  • Coordinates with Sales teams on account mapping, Dell EMC storage portfolio positioning and selling strategies
  • Drive the Unstructured Data & Analytics opportunities as well as related Vertical Solutions.
  • Engages at CxO level & demonstrates measurable ROI. Qualifies opportunities , identifies potential solutions & competitive analysis
  • Maintain accurate sales forecast and tracks activities to sales managers and regional leaders
  • Responsible for designing and executing a consistent sales strategy to achieve assigned goal

Essential Requirements
  • IT related sales experience (Storage) and proven ability to identify, qualify, develop and close opportunities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, lengthy and complex sales cycles
  • Proven ability to embrace change & leverage new value propositions rapidly. Accurate reporting skills & attention to detail
  • Responsive to customers business needs & clear focus on maintaining excellent customer service
  • Excellent English communication & available to travel within the region (30%)
Desirable Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
At least 5 years of outside sales experience
