You will be working as Service Sales Account Manager and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role you will be reporting to Service Sales Manager and will be responsible for driving growth on designated customer accounts utilizing all available service portfolios and leading the growth of selected portfolios across other customer accounts. Managing the marketing and sales action plans to both achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

  • Achieve profitable order growth in line with Division or Product Group strategy for the designated account by taking steps in penetrating service portfolios by collaborating with specific portfolio champions and maximizing the penetration of assigned portfolios to market across customer accounts.
  • Develop and maintain healthy opportunity pipeline in line with the growth plan. Establish and maintain, high quantity of customer engagement and achieve target for the KPI set.
  • Accountable to develop, maintain and manage the sales and account plan, build a supporting team and execute the agreed strategy.
  • Establish long term customer relationships with key customers and decision makers by understanding their requirements, regulations and exhibiting high expertise in technical solutions and products.
  • Accomplish high level of quality, enhance value for the customers and represent ABB in the future-thinking digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with the key resources within the organization, identify market potential from the installed base (IB), provide cost effective value-based solutions to the customers.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in service business and 3 to 5 years in Service Sales leadership position, with good knowledge and understanding of service solutions applicable in energy industries.
  • Strong experience in automation control products selling ( 800XA symphony plus).
  • Prior experience in Industry software selling.
  • Strong customer focus, result-oriented, and ability to work across reporting lines.
  • Should have leadership skills and service mindset and ability to collaborate with the other teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
