The Brand Manager will build, lead and manage the Gut Health Category/TAs in the Middle East countries. She/He will manage strategically, tactically, and operationally the marketing activities for specific products in order to achieve the company's vision, desired sales, market share, brand results, objectives, and brand image, as well as She/He will promote healthy growth and development of children in the First 1000 Days starting at pregnancy till two years of age and which includes first milk in the ME for Gut Health serving both the business & health agendas.

In this context, the Band Manager - Gut Health will be responsible of :

1- Strategy and Brand Plans Development:
  • Strengthen and develop brand positioning and marketing mix strategy.
  • Develop brand plans & relevant communications tools for the respective TA/Brands.
  • Develop, align, and ensure execution of detailing priority in line with brand plans.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors' activities to identify opportunities, Key Business, and Growth drivers
  • Set out strategic marketing direction for his/her brand(s) and manage the operational process in delivering it- Lead the implementation of the different marketing strategies.
  • To Map and Manage the KOLs related to his/her area of focus (Gut Health). Meet them regularly to get feedback, data, market trends and validate the different communication materials/campaigns.
  • Develop a plan for new launches for the coming 3 years and submit it regularly in the IRO process (LIM).
  • Work closely with the digital marketing team to define the digital strategies/ Road map for the Gut Health brands and the implementation of MCE methodology in our campaigns.
  • Work closely with the commercial excellence & country local marketing teams (Marketing Activation) to ensure and measure a proper execution of the medical activities, and proper use of the marketing material by sales forces.
  • Ensure compliance of all medical activities and marketing material with local regulations and the WHO code.
  • Develop, implement, and update product training manuals with Medical affairs team.
  • Cooperate with Central Team (Global Team) to ensure the alignment on strategies and getting the needed support. Share local performance and learning while leveraging Global/ Other CBUs best practices.

2-Execution and Monitoring:

  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (Objectives and KPIs) & monitor the SFE and e-detailing reports on monthly basis with clear recommendations.
  • Track the brand performance (IMS, MS, NS) on monthly basis and take quick actions when needed.
  • Work closely with sales teams enabling them to achieve their commercial objectives and support them in tender management process including "Value added tendering". Also have a frequent field visits to strengthen the market understanding of different countries.
  • Work closely with the medical team to ensure the best message and approach to the HCPs.
  • Analyze and track the A&P spent on regular basis and is accountable to land as per planned (Central A&P).
  • In alignment with the digital team, monitor the implementation of the MCE campaigns to the HCPs of the across Middle East Hub region.
  • Coach and supervise country Brand Managers (activation managers) on operational execution of tasks.
  • Set up and measure Test & Learn (pilot projects) and recommend next steps.
  • Coordinate market research activities with S&I team.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of participating in regional and local Medical Conferences including the branding and messages to be shared in cooperation Medical.
  • Lead the company standalone meetings including identifying objectives, Topics to be discussed, branding and deliver product presentation.
  • Lead the screening teams in the different countries, coach them and submit a monthly report on their KPIs and performance.

3-Innovation & Project Management:

  • Develop a long-term (3-5 years) pipeline of innovations (products as well as services) across ME. Submit a monthly Innovation scorecard with the recent updates.
  • Manage independently innovation projects from ideation phase to in-market launch in alignment with all stakeholders.
  • Lead the main business driver projects relevant to his/her category.
  • Liaise with medical affairs, trade, and sales team for standardized execution of brand plans.

About you

To be successful in the role you should ideally have:

Education & Experience required :

  • Medical or Nutrition university degree (e.g. Pharmacist - Physician - Dietitian, etc....).
  • MBA is a plus.
  • 3-5 years Experience in pharma or Nutrition (medical/Baby) industry.
  • Strong record of consistent performance with proven reflection on business.
  • Strong medical knowledge.
  • Experience in DTP is a plus.
  • Experience in managing and collaborating with HCPs and KOLs.
  • Experience working within both Local & Regional teams is a plus.
  • Experience in the Middle East countries is a plus.
