ROLE PURPOSE:

To lead the Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC)-Order to Cash (O2C) team involved in service delivery to distribution businesses supported by FSSC specifically on credit Control, receipting and reporting. Actively drives and supports best in class processes, systems and governance for FSSC-O2C processes consistently delivering the services in line with SLA’s and best practices. Monitor, review and establish stronger governance and controls in relation to credit control for distribution business supported by FSSC.

KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Establish stronger governance and controls pertaining to activities involved in Order to Cash process. Responsibility includes compliance with company policies, and procedures with major emphasis on managing receivables, credit risk assessment, receipting, allocation of payments and PDC management.
  • Custodian and control owner of customer master data and credit limits through periodic reviews
  • Liaison with business / FSSC internal departments/ CBO team / EIT teams to ensure service delivery is done in time and as per agreed SLA.
  • Accounts Receivable management of all the companies being serviced by FSSC-O2C team as per SLA.
  • Accountable for leading process improvement and automation initiatives (efficiency improvements – Lean and GB Projects) & process standardization to ensure continuous improvement in FSSC-O2C related activities.

PERSON SPECIFIC:

Education:
Bachelor's OR Postgraduate degree in Accounting or Business Administration
Holder of a professional qualification of relevance is an added advantage

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

  • 8-10 years (for Postgraduates) or 10-12 years’ (for Graduates) of experience in large corporates or trading businesses
  • Experience in credit department dealing for approximately 1,500+ customers of different categories
  • Experience in managing credit insurance and dealing with credit insurers.
  • Prior experience in the GCC

Good Knowledge in Microsoft-office (Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience of working on SAP

Language Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication in English is mandatory,
