ICOS and its sister companies are interested in strengthening their key staff with outstanding professionals on a full-time basis. ICOS and its sister companies are currently looking to hire Sales Managers. The sales manager will be responsible for selling company's products/services by identifying leads, educating prospects on products through calls, trainings, and presentations, and providing existing customers and partners with necessary support. The sales manager will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers and building their trust.

Responsibilities and duties of the Sales Manager

  • Develop and increase the number of active customers and partners in assigned areas.
  • Identify potential new customers and service providers in assigned areas.
  • Conduct sales out in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers and service providers.
  • Offer the best possible user experience to customers and service providers as well as providing hands-on explanations of any new or updated products when necessary. 
  • Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers and service providers daily
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers and service providers
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer and service providers accounts
  • Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
  • Sell the company’s products or services to customers and partners
  • Monitor the company’s competitors, new products, and  market conditions to understand a customer's and service provider’s specific needs
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the assigned territory market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Perform other related activities that might be assigned by the company.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in marketing management, business administration or similar relevant fields with CGPA of 3.0 and above.
  • At least two years’ experience in marketing management, sales, promotion and so on.
  • Proven work experience as a sales manager, sales manager, marketer, etc
  • Fluency in English and Amharic languages
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Customer oriented and flexible
  • People oriented, and able to get along with a wide range of personalities and people from diverse backgrounds;
  • Analytical ability and strong problem solving skills.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
